Common Questions
Commercial Door FAQs
What gauge of steel do you recommend for a warehouse application?
+
For most warehouse and industrial applications we recommend 20 gauge galvanized steel — it provides the best balance of strength, durability and cost. For very heavy-duty environments we can also supply 20 gauge with additional insulation backing for thermal performance in Alberta winters.
Do you install fire-rated commercial doors?
+
Yes. We supply and install UL-listed fire-rated overhead sectional doors and rolling steel fire doors that meet all Alberta building code requirements. We can advise on the correct fire rating (20-min, 90-min, 3-hour) for your specific application.
How long does a commercial door installation take?
+
Most single commercial door installations are completed in one day. Larger multi-door facility projects are scoped and scheduled based on the number of openings and any structural modifications required. We provide a clear timeline in every written estimate.
Do you offer maintenance contracts for commercial facilities?
+
Yes — we offer annual maintenance plans for commercial and industrial clients. Regular servicing extends door life, keeps warranties valid and prevents costly emergency breakdowns. Contact us for a customized maintenance quote for your facility.
